Our approach to winemaking is guided by experience, instinct, and restraint. Shaped by time spent at some of the world’s most respected wineries, our process draws from a wide range of philosophies—blending precision with intuition, and tradition with thoughtful experimentation. Each decision is intentional, made in service of balance, texture, and expression rather than excess.

Winemaker Charlie Fauroat’s path to wine was anything but direct. What began far from vineyards evolved through years of travel, mentorship, and hands-on harvests across Sonoma County, New Zealand, and Australia. Under the guidance of some of the region’s most respected voices, he developed a deep appreciation for Pinot Noir while cultivating a curiosity for crafting wines beyond expectation.

Today, that journey comes together at North Avenue Cellars. With a focus on delicacy, brightness, and harmony, our wines are shaped as much by experience as by instinct. The goal is not to impose a style, but to listen—to the fruit, the season, and the moment—allowing each wine to unfold with clarity and purpose
